Police in Balerma (Spain), collaborating with the Interpol, have arrested a Moroccan national for committing high-technology crimes, reports 20 minutos.
The 29-year-old man, identified as O.A., was arrested on May 28. He is accused of «illegally installing and using a five SIM-card platform, with a 'VoIP' port and a router», says the same source.
Thanks to applications, he could also scan networks, detect network servers and exploit system vulnerabilities, to make «millions of phone calls, for free». In addition to that, the defendant who was operating in Fez had managed to call international numbers, without having to go through local or traditional networks.
The accused was transferred to El Ejido Court. He will appear in front of the Central Court of Investigation before being handed over to the Moroccan authorities.
