Morocco public broadcaster Société nationale de radiodiffusion et de télévision (SNRT) has acquired the broadcasting rights for 22 international sports events held at the 2018 World Cup, said Arryadia TV Wednesday on twitter.

The initiative comes as the state-owned television network concluded an agreement with beInSPORTS North Africa and the Middle East, a group of sports channels based in Doha that holds the rights to broadcast the competition in the region.

For the record, Morocco is scheduled to play three games against Iran, Portugal and Spain. The Atlas Lions’ opening match at the 2018 World Cup will take place Friday, 15th of June in Petersburg, Russia.

Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are the only Arab countries will compete in the international tournament, hosted by Russia from the 14th of June to the 15th of July.
