Former FIFA president Joseph Blatter will attend, Wednesday 20th of June, the Portugal vs. Morocco match, says his spokesperson on Monday, quoted by Marca.

Invited by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Blatter is expected to fly Tuesday to Moscow, says the same source.

The disgraced man has been banned from being part of football-related activities for six years after he was «investigated by Swiss prosecutors for alleged corruption during his 17-year reign at the head of FIFA», says AFP.

For the record, Morocco is to face the Portuguese team this week in Moscow. The Atlas Lions were defeated (1-0) in their World Cup opening game by Iran while Portugal earned a draw in a classic match against Spain.

According to FIFA regulations, Blatter’s ban does not stop him from attending football matches.
