On Twitter, Moroccan social media users have launched a campaign, boycotting sports radio station Radio Mars.

Blocking the station’s official account on Twitter, internet users are accusing the media of spreading fake news related to the Morocco national football team and the French coach Hervé Renard, who currently manages the Atlas Lions.

Through a series of hashtags, such as «RadioMarsIsBullshit», and «المرقة راديو بلوك حملة» ( a campaign of blocking a corrupt station), several Moroccans have taken their anger to Twitter, denouncing the way in which the sports radio dealt with Morocco’s participation in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Some Tweets have even accused Radio Mars of «corruption and dishonesty», while others took screen shots, showing that they have blocked the station from their Twitter feed.
