Marrakech first instance court decided on Wednesday, 11th of July, to postpone footballer Amine Harit’s last hearing to July the 25th.

The court’s decision came as «the car’s insurance company submitted a request, indicating that it needs time to start procedures related to compensating the victim’s family», reports Le 360.

Harit has reached a settlement with the victim’s family before «offering them a fairly significant amount of money», says the same source.

For the record, the 21-year-old footballer was behind the wheel when his car hit a pedestrian and killed him, Saturday 30th of June, in Marrakech. An investigation was initiated by the Marrakech police to determine the circumstance surrounding the accident.
