Moroccan-Dutch player Abderrahim Loukili will join Al Hoceima’s football club Chabab Rif after leaving FC Lienden, he wrote, Tuesday 31st of July, on his Twitter account.

On its website, the Dutch club announced that «a contract concluded with the Moroccan footballer» has been terminated by the footballer himself. Loukili’s decision comes as Moroccan-Dutch international Munir El Hamdaoui was hired as Chabab Rif’s technical director.

The 26-year-old striker signed a contract for the third time with FC Lienden in January. He was «disappointed» that he did not stay for long periods with several Dutch clubs. In 2014, Loukili joined FC Lienden for the first time after a transfer from USC Hercules.

«FC Lienden does not want to hinder the ambitions of the footballer», wrote the club on its website, saying it was «decided to terminate the current contract prematurely». «Abderrahim Loukili, a creative player whose dream has always been to become a professional footballer, is able to do it», the club said.

Born in February the 6th, 1992 in Houten (Utrecht), Abderrahim Loukili had played with several Dutch clubs. From the USV Hercules, the player moved to Lienden in 2014 before leaving, a year later to NEC Nijmegen B for a few games and then joining IJsselmeervogels for the rest of the season.
