Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini to visit Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria soon

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini announced on his Twitter account that he will be visiting Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria soon.

The controversial minister added that he would like Italy to become a «protagonist» again in dealing with migration issues. Furthermore, this regards «a billion-dollar project to support the economy and work in those countries».

For the record, the far-right minister was heavily criticized for banning two ships of migrants from berthing in Italy.
