Burkinabé international striker Alain Traoré has joined Moroccan club Nahdat Berkane, online sports newspaper Goal said on Friday.
Traoré, who was part of Qatari club Al-Markhiya, will play for the Moroccan club for three years. The former Auxerre and Monaco striker passed his medical tests on Thursday and was officially presented by the club on Saturday.
In Berkane, he will have great responsibilities because he is supposed to fill the gap left after the departure of Moroccan international player Ayoub al-Kaabi.
The latter left the Moroccan club in July to join China's Hebei Fortune, just after participating to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Traoré scored 21 goals in 54 appearances with the Burkina Faso national team.
