Moroccan footballer Aziz Bouhaddouz has officially joined Saudi Arabian club Al Baten, tweeted on Wednesday, 22nd of August, former Moroccan international Mustapha El Hadaoui.

The club has also announced the transfer on its Twitter account. «The club has finalized a deal with the German club Pauli for the transfer of Aziz Bouhaddouz», wrote Al Baten.

The 31-year-old forward joined Germany’s  FC St. Pauli in April 2016. He played before for several German clubs, including SV Wehen Wiesbaden, Bayer 04 Leverkusen II and Viktoria Köln.

Bouhaddouz was summoned by Morocco’s senior national football team in August 2016. He scored his first goal for the Atlas Lions during a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match.

The footballer was a member of Hervé Renard’s World Cup squad that travelled to Russia and played three games. During Morocco’s match against Iran Bouhaddouz scored an own goal which resulted in a loss for the team.
