Spain : A four-year-old Moroccan child rescued in the Cadiz Bay

The Spanish Civil Guard rescued Wednesday, 5th of September, a four-year-old migrant in the Cadiz Bay waters, who was with his two parents, reports El Ciudadano.

The operation took place about 10 miles away from the Faro de Trafalgar, in the municipality of Barbate. The child and his parents were on a boat alongside 30 migrants, as it is shown in a video published by the same source.

Officials noticed that the child was with the group. «They gave him a thermal blanket to surmount the cold weather and brought his mother and father with him», said El Ciudadano.

The Spanish media also informs that elements of the Spanish Civil Guard rescued on Wednesday three other ships for a total of 140 people of Maghreb origin.
