Morocco vs. Malawi : Coach Hervé Renard comments on Amine Harit’s absence

After winning a game against Malawi on Saturday, Coach Hervé Renard commented on the absence of Moroccan-French midfielder Amine Harit. During a press conference, the Atlas Lions' coach explained that the player couldn’t be part of Saturday’s squad because of disciplinary-related reasons.

«He was supposed to be here, but since he has been the subject of a disciplinary sanction, he couldn’t make it», he explained, adding that «when you are in a group, you have to respect the time, he must respect certain things, otherwise you get punished». For Hervé Renard, the sanction sets an example for others.

Several other players were absent during the Atlas Lions' last match. «Benatia and Da Costa were not part of the list, but Romain Saiss and Ait Bennasser had a good game», explained Renard.
