Leaders of Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi will continue working together. The information was confirmed Thursday, November the 29th in Amsterdam, during their first meeting after the arrest of Carlos Ghosn, chairman and CEO of Renault and Nissan, says Jeune Afrique.

The weekly magazine says that their alliance will last, especially, at the Renault plant located in Tanger-Med.

In a press release issued after the meeting, the leaders believe that this cooperation «is the oldest and most productive intercultural partnership in the automobile industry (...) with sales of the three partners that exceeded 10.6 million vehicles in nearly 200 countries in 2017».

Africa is home to the two main factories of the alliance : Tanger Med in Morocco, headed by Renault, and the Rosslyn plant, near Pretoria in South Africa, managed by Nissan. Marc Nassif, Renault's General Manager in Morocco, announced that industrial cooperation and joint production plans will continue operating.
