Royal Navy coastguards assisted 133 would-be migrants from 1 to 3 December onboard makeshift boats trying to reach the Canary Islands from the southern provinces of Morocco or Spain from the north of the country, a military source reported on Monday.
The illegal migrants received the necessary first aid from the Royal Navy, and then transported to the various ports of Nador, Tangier, Al Hoceima and Dakhla, the same source added.
