The US launches space programs for Moroccan students through a competition

Morocco is to house the fifth edition of the Race2Race competition. The latter is organized by the Scientific Morocco Association and the US Embassy in Rabat, reports Satellite Prome.

Applicants will be accepted, starting from December the 16th to January the 19th, 2019. It is open to Moroccan students aged between «15 to 18 with an interest in science and mathematics», said the same source.

Pre-selection will take place between January the 20th and February the 24th. Voting will be submitted online from February the 25th to March the 17th and winners will be «announced on March the 20th».

Only 12 students will be granted full scholarships by the US State Department, to get in NASA’s Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama in July 2019.
