Police in Tangier dismantled on Friday night, December the 21st, a criminal network that organizes irregular migration campaigns, and arrested four suspects aged between 24 and 44 years old.

The General Directorate for National Security (DGSN) indicated in a statement, that this operation allowed the arrest of three Moroccan nationals involved in the organization of this criminal activity, an african intermediary, as well as 22 sub-Saharan migrants.

The defendants were placed in police custody as part of the judicial investigation opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor, the same source says.
