Raja Casablanca have sacked Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido, the Moroccan team announced Monday.
The decision was taken following «several major technical malfunctions recorded recently, which have impacted the cohesion and performance of the team», CAF Confederation Cup trophy-holders explained in a statement.
Garrido will be temporarily replaced by his assistant Youssef Safri.
On Saturday, Raja was defeated (0-2) in Rabat by Tunisia's Etoile Sportive in the first leg of the quarter finals of the Zayed Champions Cup.
