Morocco is one of the countries that US travelers visit the most

Morocco is among the destinations that American travelers have been fancying in 2018. According to a list compiled by Squaremouth, an online company that compares travel insurance products from every major provider in the United States, American tourists’ favorite destinations include Africa and South America.

The Kingdom is ranked second by Squaremouth, which indicates that American travelers are «flocking the country».

Marrakech and the Sahara are the most visited places in the Kingdom. «Last year, it saw a 72.81% increase in visitors», reported Lonely Planet quoting the online company.

«It’s also a bit cheaper than its fellow North African county (Egypt), as the average trip for a US traveler cost $3673.32, a 6.76% increase», the same source added.

Egypt, Tanzania and Colombia are also part of the same list.
