King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia arrive in Morocco

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, Sovereigns of the Kingdom of Spain, arrived on Wednesday in Rabat for an official visit to Morocco, at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.

At their arrival at the Rabat-Sale Airport, Majesty King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were greeted by King Mohammed VI who was accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid and Princesses Lalla Khadija, Lalla Meryem, Lalla Asmae, Lalla Hasnaa and Lalla Oum Keltoum.

The King and his distinguished guests reviewed afterwards a detachment of honor of the Royal Guard.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were invited to the traditional offering of milk and dates.

After a break at the airport's royal lounge, the royal cortege headed to the Meshuar square at the Rabat royal palace where an official welcome was given to the King's illustrious guests.
