Gabonese President is back again to his country after staying in Morocco to continue his treatment. On Sunday, Ali Bongo flew to Gabon where he is expected to chair a cabinet meeting, reports Turkish press agency Anadolu quoting local media.

Bongo will be returning again to Morocco, where he spent a couple of weeks as part of his medical treatment, the same source added.

It is the second time that the President returns, shortly, to his country to reassure the Gabonese people. In January, Bongo left for Gabon days after the country survived an attempted military coup.

The President returned to Rabat shortly after swearing in 38 ministers for the country’s new government.

For the record, the Gabonese President flew to Morocco after he was hospitalized in Saudi Arabia because of a stroke. He arrived in Rabat on November the 28th, 2018, after accepting the proposal of King Mohammed VI, said his wife Sylvia Bongo in a Facebook post.

For the record, Bongo was transferred to a hospital on October the 24th after he suffered a stroke during a conference. The country’s top court ruled, at the time, that Gabon’s vice president will head the cabinet in his absence.
