A French delegation has visited the Tindouf camps to participate to the «celebrations commemorating the 43rd anniversary of SADR creation and the Sahara Marathon», reported SPS on Sunday.

The delegation of French solidarity activists was received by the Front’s leader Brahim Ghali. During this meeting, French solidarity activists «expressed their determination to continue to support the struggle of the Sahrawi people and their just cause».

These two weeks were quite busy for the Polisario leadership, which received several international delegations. Last week, the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee arrived in the camps, heading a Congress delegation.

The American delegation was composed of 17 personalities including six elected, headed by Chairman of the US Senate Armed Services Committee, and Finance Committee Chairman Enzi Michael Bradley, reports SPS.

Days later, a European Parliament delegation visited the camps. Headed by the president of the Confederal Group of the European United Left / Green Left in the European Parliament, the German Gabriele Zimmer, the delegation was received by the Polisario’s leader Brahim Ghali.

During their meeting, Ghali hailed «the efforts made by the Friends of the Saharawi People in the European Parliament in defense».

On the other hand, united Left MEP Paloma Lopez «reiterated the willingness of the Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi People in the European Parliament to continue their battle» in favor of the «separatist movement».
