On Wednesday, February the 27th, a European Parliament delegation visited the Tindouf camps, reports the Front’s press agency SPS.

Headed by the spokesperson of the Confederal Group of the European United Left / Green Left in the European Parliament, the German Gabriele Zimmer, the delegation was received by the Polisario’s leader Brahim Ghali.

During their meeting, Ghali hailed «the efforts made by the Friends of the Saharawi People in the European Parliament in defense». On the other hand, united Left MEP Paloma Lopez «reiterated the willingness of the Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi People in the European Parliament to continue their battle» in favor of the «separatist movement».

It is not the first international delegation that visits the Polisario in February. On Sunday, February the 24th, the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee flew to the Tindouf camps, heading a US Congress delegation.

The American delegation was composed of 17 personalities including six (6) elected, headed by Chairman of the US Senate Armed Services Committee, and Finance Committee Chairman Enzi Michael Bradley, wrote SPS on Monday.
