King Mohammed VI strongly condemned, on Friday, the heinous terrorist attack that targeted two mosques in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand, reports MAP news agency.
In a message of condolences addressed to Governor-General of New Zealand Patsy Reddy, the King denounced the «racist and terrorist attack», against Muslim worshipers. He also stressed the importance of coexistence, tolerance and fraternity.
The King sent his condolences to the families of the victims and those who lost their loved ones in the tragedy.
For the record, a man opened fire, Friday, on worshippers at two mosques in the city. At least 49 people were killed in the terror attack and more than 40 others injured. The attack was considered «terrorist» by the New Zealand Prime Minister.
