On Wednesday morning, the body of Moroccan model Imane Fadil underwent autopsy, fulfilling the decision of the Italian authorities which are investigating her «mysterious» death.

According to Italian online newspaper La Repubblica, samples were taken from the deceased's kidneys and liver to rule on poisoning allegations that followed the death of the woman, who was involved in the former Prime Minister’s bunga bunga parties.

The same source reports that the 34-year-old model, who testified against Silvio Berlusconi, told her family about the person with whom she had dinner after she was admitted to a hospital in Milan. «Imane’s family alleged that this person might be linked to her death», La Repubblica added.

On the other hand, the Milan prosecutor’s office decided to summon Souad Sbai, a Moroccan-born activist and former Italian MP. The latter linked, earlier this week, Imane Fadil’s death to the Moroccan embassy.

Speaking to Yabiladi on Tuesday, Sbai said that Fadil was «a frequent visitor of the Moroccan embassy» and that her death may be connected to «Moroccan witchcraft».

On Tuesday, 19 days after Fadil’s death, Milan's prosecutor said that high levels of heavy metals were found in her body, including cadmium and antimony.

Originally from Morocco, the model was one of three young women who said that Silvio Berlusconi's «bunga bunga» gatherings in his villa near Milan were sordid sex parties.
