As part of preparations for census for the 2019 military service, scheduled from April 9 to June 7, 2019, the Interior Minister informs young people aged 19-25 that the lists of draftees called to fill the census forms were finalized by the ad hoc central committee during the meeting held for this purpose on April 2, 2019, under the chairmanship of the first vice president of the court of cassation, chamber president at the same court.
A statement by the Interior Minister says that, pursuant to law 44.18 on the military service and organic texts on its implementation, and taking account of the principle of equality among citizens and the guarantee of balance among regions, the finalized lists were submitted to the services of prefectures, provinces and district prefectures to print notices to be sent to the concerned individuals to invite them to fill their census forms.
The minister urged the young people, who will receive such notice from the local administrative authorities, to fill the form on the website www.tajnid.ma upon their notification or their families', it said.
The minister also informs young people of age to check for their names in the lists of conscripts on the website.
The minister informs young people who were not summoned for the service this year and wishing to do so, including young women, to fill the form on the same website.
Moroccan young expatriates, enlisted on consulates' registers and wishing to perform this service, can also fill the form on the same website, said the statement.
The Interior Minister says that young people could get information related to the military service from the nearest local administrative authorities or from the information service set up in prefectures, provinces and district prefectures, or from website www.tajnid.ma.
