The Royal Moroccan Football Federation is interested in signing Bruno Genesio, the coach of Olympique Lyonnais. Citing well-informed sources, football online newspaper Goal revealed that the Atlas Lions consider Genesio for the «federation’s vacant technical director role».
After sacking its former technical director Nasser Larguet, the Moroccan federation is reportedly looking into ways of replacing him with the 52-year-old coach.
Quoting Ca Me Dit Sport, Goal reports that the Atlas Lions «believe that Genesio could be an ideal replacement for recently departed Nasser Larguet». It is worth noting that the federation announced, Friday May 3, in a communiqué that it is no longer relying on the services of Larguet.
For the record, Genesio is the current manager of Olympique Lyonnais, who announced in March that he would resign by the end of the season.
