Over 4 tons of cannabis resin seized south of Tangier

A customs brigade seized on Tuesday night more than four tons of cannabis resin in the south of Tangier.

The banned substance was concealed inside a car, Head of the customs brigade, Rachid Lhimer, told reporters.

The car was immobilized at 11:30 p.m. on the road N° 4603 at the municipality of Hjar Nhal, he pointed out, adding that the car was carrying some 125 packages of nearly 33 kg of cannabis resin each.
