C.D. Leganés and Moroccan Nabil El Zhar have agreed the rescission of the contract that tied them together until June 30th 2020, the Spanish side said on their website.
The 32-year-old Moroccan will not continue in the cucumber club during the 2019/2020 season, it added.
El Zhar closes a chapter in Leganés after two and a half seasons wearing the white and blue colors.
Since his arrival from U.D. Las Palmas, El Zhar played a total of 82 official matches with the cucumber club, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.
«The club thanks Nabil El Zhar for his professionality and hard work during his time defending the Leganés shirt and wished him the best of luck, personally and professionally», it said.
