Mauritania's Minister of Culture flies in a Moroccan plane to attend a rally of Ould Ghazouani

On Sunday, June 16, Mauritanian Minister of Culture and Handicrafts Industries Mohamed Ould Maham, who serves as the government's spokesman, flew in a Moroccan private plane to Atar (a city in Mauritania) to attend an election rally of Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, who is one of the six candidates expected to vie for the Mauritanian presidency.

«High royal instructions» allowed the official to travel from Tan Tan to Atar, located in northern Mauritania, said Mauritanian newspaper Anbaa Info.

On Saturday, June 15, Ould Maham was in Tan Tan, where he was leading a Mauritanian delegation composed of 60 people, participating in the Tan Tan festival. Mauritania was the guest of honor of the festival’s 15th edition.

On 26 February, Mauritanian Minister Mohamed Ould Maham was received in Rabat by Prince Moulay Rachid. He carried a written message from the Mauritanian President to King Mohammed VI.
