60 kg of cannabis resin seized at Bab Sebta

Customs and police operating at the Bab Sebta crossing point seized, Friday, 60 kg of cannabis resin, a customs source reported.

The seizure was the result of a thorough search of a light car registered in Morocco heading for the occupied city of Sebta, according to the same source.

It added that the illicit substance was hidden in the vehicle chassis.

Two Moroccan nationals, the car's driver and a passenger, were handed over to the Tetouan judicial police for further investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor.
