An 18-year-old woman was allegedly raped in Etxebarría Park in Bilbao by six homeless individuals of Maghreb origin.
According to El Espanol, the regional police arrested six men aged 18 to 36, «all Moroccans and Algerians». «They are accused of raping the girl, Thursday, August 1 at 11 pm», the newspaper said.
The girl was walking alone when the six individuals, who were in a makeshift camp, allegedly approached her and forcibly took her to the camp before raping her, according to her testimony. She would have identified one of her alleged attackers due to his tattoo.
El Espanol recalls that this case comes after two similar incidents. Indeed, two weeks ago, the court of instruction of Manresa ordered the provisional detention of four Moroccans accused of alleged sexual assault of a minor in that Barcelona municipality.
