A Royal Navy unit on a mission in the Atlantic managed, on Thursday, to foil a drug trafficking operation off Assilah (northern Morocco) and seized 130 bales of chira with a total weight of over 4 tons, according to a military source.
This seizure was possible after a long pursuit of three Go-fast boats, the same source said.
It added that the illicit substance and the elements of the investigation were sent to the Royal Gendarmerie for the established legal procedures.
