Telecom operator «Maroc Telecom» and the government have signed a sixth investment agreement for the development of telecommunications in the Kingdom through the implementation, over the next three years (2019-2021), of an investment program worth 10 billion dirhams.
This investment program seeks to develop and strengthen telecommunications infrastructure, to provide very high-speed and high-speed fixed and mobile broadband and to create new jobs in Morocco, Maroc Telecom said Monday in a statement.
Within the framework of the last five agreements, Maroc Telecom has invested more than 58 billion dirhams, the statement added, noting that this agreement will bring the total volume of investments to more than 68 billion dirhams on the national territory.
Maroc Telecom, which confirms its position as a leading investor at the national level, ensures the development of its telecommunications networks in order to respond to the continuing growth of traffic and the need to introduce very high speed broadband new technologies.
