Dutch club PSV Eindhoven has concluded a two-million-Euro contract with AZ Alkmaar, which signed Moroccan-Dutch player Zakaria Aboukhal, Voetbal International, ED and Elf Voetbal report.

PSV Eindhoven did not expand its contract with Aboukhal and decided to make a deal with the Dutch club. The 19-year-old made 24 appearances with PSV, scoring nine times. He has also played eight international matches with the Under-19 Dutch national team.

Zakaria Aboukhlal was born in Rotterdam to Moroccan parents. From the age of three to 16, he spent part of his childhood in his home country and more precisely in Casablanca before returning to the Netherlands. He immediately joined the Gorinchem GVV Unitas before getting noticed at PSV Eindhoven in summer 2017.

«Ajax also wanted me, but I always wanted to play for PSV», the striker told Elf Voetbal in January. «I wanted this since a was a kid, partly because of the Moroccans who played here, like Ibrahim Afellay, Zakaria Labyad and Zakaria Bakkali».
