Moroccan international goalkeeper Yassine Bounou has signed a loan deal with FC Sevilla for a season with an option to buy.
FC Sevilla and FC Girona have reached an agreement for Yassine Bounou to move to the Andalusian team for one season as a loan with an option to buy, the two teams said in a statement posted on their websites.
Under contract with Girona until 2021, Bounou played for the Catalan club in 85 games (52 in the first division, 32 in the second division and 1 in the King's Cup).
The Atlas Lions' goalkeeper, who arrived in Spain in 2012 from Wydad Casablanca, played for the reserve team of Atlético Madrid and of Real Zaragoza, before joining Girona in 2016.
