Moroccan artist Anas Bawss, the founder of «Pozitiv S’cool of Hip Hop» in Casablanca, has been named «ambassador of Moroccan hip-hop in the United States», a press release sent Monday to Yabiladi reports.

The Positive school is a program created in 2016 by Anas Bawss to teach hip-hop with the help of the Ali Zaoua Foundation. The school is meant to help several young people from working-class neighborhoods in Casablanca to work on themselves, acquire artistic technical tools, and improve their hip-hop performances.

Thanks to this nomination, Morocco became the only country in the MENA region to participate in a tour, sponsored by the United States Department of States. The artist will tour three US states, namely New York, Kansas and Minnesota, in addition to France Belgium and Spain.
