The Central Bureau for Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) dismantled, Wednesday, a pro-ISIS terror cell of four people aged between 24 and 39.

Conducted with the help of the Spanish police, the operation led to the arrest of 3 people who were operating in the region of Farkhana and Beni Nsar (Nador), including the brother of an ISIS fighter In Iraq and Syria, BCIJ said in a statement.

The cell's leader was arrested simultaneously in the suburbs of Madrid, it added.

Initial investigations reveal the cell's members adhered to propaganda campaigns praising ISIS bloody acts, while multiplying calls for revenge in retaliation for the death of the so-called caliph of this terrorist organization.

The cell's members held meetings to monitor the current situation in Syria and Iraq and plan terrorist operations in response to calls from ISIS leaders, the source pointed out.

This operation led to the seizure of electronic devices, mobile phones as well as books and manuscripts promoting extremist ideology.

The suspects will be brought to justice upon the completion of the investigation which is led under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
