A new swimsuit line to include hijab

Footwear manufacturing company Nike will launch in February 2020 a swimwear line with hijab for Muslim women, Cnews reports.

As announced by Nike on Tuesday, the swimwear for veiled clients will include a separate hijab, a tunic top and swim leggings.

«The design of the Nike Victory Swim Collection serves a variety of needs from modesty preferences to sun protection and represents Nike's commitment to inclusive design, providing more women with game-changing innovation to enjoy sport», Nike said.

Nike said that it started developing the line after it received complaints from Muslim athletes who wear the hijab.
