Security services at the Marrakech-Menara international airport arrested on Sunday two French nationals of Moroccan origin, aged 21 and 22, for their alleged involvement in international drug trafficking.
Policemen found 29 kilograms of cannabis resin hidden in the luggage of the two women who were heading for Paris, national police said in a statement.
The suspects were placed on custody, while investigations are underway under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office with a view to identifying all the people involved in this drug trafficking operation, the source added.
