Matches of all competitions and categories will be played behind closed doors starting Wednesday, March 4, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced.

The decision, taken in coordination with the competent authorities, is aimed at ensuring the safety of players, coaches and fans, the FRMF said in a statement published on Wednesday on its website.

The Federation calls on the national professional football League, the national amateur football League, the national diversified football League and the national women's football League to comply with this decision, the same source added.

This decision comes after Morocco had announced two confirmed coronavirus cases this week.
