The Maroc Cultures Association announced Sunday that the 19th edition of yearly music festival Mawazine, initially scheduled for June 2020, has been cancelled due to coronavirus fears.
This decision was taken in accordance with preventive measures recommended by the Moroccan authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO), organizers said in a press release.
For the record, Morocco recorded 28 confirmed coronavirus cases. Most of the infected patients have been to Europe in the last couple of weeks.
