Morocco records second coronavirus death and an additional confirmed case

Morocco recorded, Tuesday, the second death due to the coronavirus. The deceased patient is a 75-year-old Moroccan from the city of Sale, the Health Ministry said in a press release sent to Yabiladi on Tuesday.

In the same communiqué, health authorities announced an additional confirmed coronavirus case, bringing the total number of Covid-19 in Morocco to 38.

The new patient is in a «stable health condition», the Ministry said, adding that he is currently at one of Casablanca’s hospitals. The 38th patient has returned from France recently, the Ministry said.

For the record, this is the second coronavirus-related death in Morocco. The first patient who died because of the virus is an 89-year-old woman who tested positive for the virus after returning from Italy.
