Covid-19 : Eighteen new cases confirmed in Morocco, 574 in total

Eighteen new coronavirus cases (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco from Monday night until Tuesday at 8 a.m., bringing to 574 the total number of cases of contamination, announced the ministry of Health.

The number of deaths due to the coronavirus is 33, while that of cured people stands at 15, said the ministry.

In addition, the total number of cases excluded after negative laboratory results is 2,227, according to the same source.

The 574 positive cases were reported in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (167), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (98), Fès-Meknès (98), Marrakech-Safi (104), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (39), the Oriental region (23), Souss-Massa (18), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (18), Daraa-Tafilalet (8) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1), the ministry noted.
