A rescue team at the port of Tantan recovered, Friday off the coast of Tantan, the dead bodies of two Sub-Saharan women and rescued 21 would-be immigrants, all from sub-Saharan Africa, including four women, said local authorities.

The would-be illegal immigrants were aboard an inflatable boat, the source said, adding that one of the two dead women was pregnant.

The rescued immigrants were brought to the port of Tantan, when a medical team carried out the necessary tests to get sure they dont have coronavirus symptoms, the source added.

Afterwards, they were rushed into Hassan II regional hospital to receive the necessary health care.
