Coronavirus : 116 new confirmed cases in Morocco, 1,661 in total

One hundred and sixteen (116) new cases of infection with the coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing to 1,661 the total number of contamination cases, the health ministry announced on Sunday.

The number of people declared cured rose, until Sunday at 6:00 p.m., to 177 cases (31 additional recoveries), while that of deaths reached 118, after reporting seven new deaths in the last 24 hours, said director of epidemiology and fight against diseases at the Ministry of Health Mohamed El Youbi, in a statement broadcast by MAP on its television channel M24 and RIM RADIO.
