The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Morocco jumped, Monday, to 1,746, the Health Ministry announced this morning.
As for the death toll, the Ministry said that in total 120 people died after contracting the virus in Morocco while 196 recovered.
7,206 suspected cases have been excluded after they tested negative for the virus, the same source added.
The 1,746 cases were recorded in Casablanca-Settat (501), Marrakech-Safi (343) Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (239), Fes-Meknes (230), Tanger-Tetouan Al Hoceima (168), the Oriental region (108), Daraa-Tafilalet (77), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (49), Souss-Massa (24), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (4), Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab (2) et Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
