Coronavirus : 163 new cases in Morocco, 5,711 in total

The ministry of health said 163 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were recorded in Morocco over the past 24 hours until Friday at 4 p.m., bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in the Kingdom to 5,711.

145 covid-19 patients have recovered over the given period, which brings the number of recoveries to 2,324, while three coronavirus-related deaths were reported, bringing the number of fatalities to 186, Director of epidemiology at the ministry of Health, Mohamed El Youbi, said.

The ministry of Health urges citizens to observe rules of hygiene, implement the precautionary measures issued by the public authorities, act with responsibility and show patriotism.
