Coronavirus : 162 new confirmed cases in Morocco, 5,873 in total

One hundred sixty-two (162) additional coronavirus have been confirmed in Morocco as of Saturday at 10:00 am, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections to 5,873, announced the ministry of Health.

The number of cured cases amounts to 2,389 with 65 new recoveries, while the number of deaths stands at 186, said the ministry on the portal "www.covidmaroc.ma".

In addition, the number of cases excluded after negative laboratory results is 56,134, according to the same source.

The ministry urges citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety, as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
