Morocco records 66 new coronavirus cases, 7,780 in total

66 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 7,780, the ministry of Health announced Saturday.

The number of recoveries has reached 5,401 with 130 new ones recorded in the past 24 hours. The number of Covid-19 related deaths has risen to 204, with two new deaths in the last 24 hours.

The ministry urges citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the authorities, by showing responsibility and patriotism.
