Morocco records 26 new coronavirus cases, 7,833 in total

Twenty-six new Covid-19 cases were recorded in Morocco over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the country to 7,833, the Ministry of Health said Monday.

No new coronavirus related death was recorded over the given period, and the number of fatalities remains at 205, said Dr Mouad Mrabet, Coordinator of the National Center for Emergency Operations at the Ministry of Health, in a statement broadcast by MAP on its M24 TV channel and RIM Radio.

A total of 434 Covid-19 patients have recovered over the past 24 hours until Monday at 6 p.m., which rises the number of cured people to 5,893, he added.

The ministry of Health urges citizens to observe rules of hygiene, implement the precautionary measures issued by the public authorities, act with responsibility and show patriotism.
