Morocco records 78 new coronavirus cases, 44 new recoveries in 24 hours

Seventy-eight (78) new coronavirus cases and 44 recoveries have been recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Monday.

The total number of Covid-19 infections in teh country stands now at 8,302 while that of recoveries is at 7,408, with a recovery rate of 89.2%, said Mouad Mrabet, coordinator from the National Center for Public Health Emergency Operations at the Ministry of Health, in a statement broadcast by MAP on its television channel M24 and on RIM RADIO.

No new deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, the official said, adding that the death toll remains stable at 208, that is a fatality rate of 2.5%.
